Understand behavior. Develop leadership.
Pivot Point approaches leadership development through the study of human behavior. Through interactive workshops, coaching, and practical development experiences, we help leaders examine how they respond, understand what influences their behavior, and practice more intentional approaches at work.
WHAT WE DOKnowing what to do is different from doing it consistently.
Leadership creates situations where information alone may not be enough. A manager may understand the importance of feedback, delegation, or clear expectations and still struggle to respond effectively when those situations arise. We examine the behavior and its context, then design development that helps people practice a more deliberate response.
Zoom Out.
Move Forward.
When the first explanation isn't the whole picture.
Workplace challenges rarely arrive with all the information we need. This interactive workshop invites participants to look beyond their first interpretation, consider the people and conditions shaping a situation, and practice making a more informed next move.
What stays consistent,
whatever the topic.
Different situations need different conversations. These three elements remain part of the intended experience.
Active participation
Every workshop asks people to take part. Participants examine questions, discuss decisions and work through guided exercises relevant to the session.
Relevant working situations
We consider the roles, expectations and relationships that shape behavior. Participants can connect what they explore to situations they recognize in their work.
Practical application
The session ends with a clear question, decision or behavior participants can take back to their work and examine in practice. Follow-up support can be scoped separately.
Start with what

Marie Vasquez, founder of Pivot Point, brings a behavioral and systems-informed perspective to the relationships, expectations, and working conditions that shape how people lead.
Marie is available for talks, panels and facilitated sessions on leadership, behavior and human agency at work.
Behavior makes more sense in context.
People's responses are influenced by the responsibilities they carry, the people around them and the conditions in which they work.
Pivot Point considers those influences when developing practical ways to lead. Our aim is to make development relevant to the actual situations a participant can affect.
